Ian is from the local area and has been in business since the age of 23. He ran a successful joinery / carpentry business for 25 years before setting up Betamindes in 2005 with his partner Dawne Yewbrey.  Ian has a personal interest and experience of looking after family members with different types of dementia and has used this extensive knowledge to create the quality service provided today.

Registered Manager

Dawne has spent all her working life in the care sector and is a Registered Mental Nurse from 1985 – 2005. Dawne has vast experience having spent many years working for the NHS, moving specifically into Dementia care in the late 1990s. Dawne then progressed through the ranks to lecture on the subject. Dawne set up and managed two day care centres for social services before launching Betamindes in 2005.

Fiona comes to Betamindes with an extensive background in the care sector having undertaken various care roles throughout her career. Fiona has links with nursing, social and flexible care services.  Prior to her role at Betamindes, Fiona was supporting a major care provider in the role of Regional Operations Manager. Skilled and knowledgeable, Fiona’s commitment to excellence assures quality care delivery across our range of services.

Keri has worked in the care industry for 10 years, 2 of which were spent in the community as a Home Care Assistant.  Keri has recently taken on the role of Care Coordinator – arranging staff rotas to ensure dedicated and timely care to our clients.I find my role extremely rewarding and get great satisfaction in ensuring our vulnerable clients receive a high standard of care enabling them to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

Julie has worked for the Betamindes service in a senior care worker capacity since January 2016. As an experienced member of the team, Julie is a key asset. Julie ensures the smooth running of the provision of care by co-ordinating rota management and is dedicated to the continuity of care for our clients.

‘The care co-ordinator role is an exciting role that enables me to be involved with clients, care teams and local services. The role is varied and no two days are the same! I love the variety of what the role entails and the service we provide is there to support our clients to live as independently as possible’

Day care Supervisor

Julie has worked in a homecare role for many years.  After taking a break to work as a Receptionist at a local marina, helping them to win a South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Customer Service Award and 2 Marina of the Year Awards, Julie has now returned to the care sector to work in a supervisory role after caring for close family members living with Dementia.

The Supervisor position is a new and exciting role where I can use my personal knowledge and experience to offer our clients compassion, understanding, support and commitment.
